In November 2012 I was fortunate to spend a few days in Costa Rica. Unfortunately though I came down with a virus on the journey there and the 2 days I had set aside for seeing San Jos̩ were spent in bed recuperating. Once I was on the mend though, I set off by shared mini-bus to La Fortuna, to visit the place in Costa Rica I most wanted to see РArenal Volcano. There are a number of eco/nature lodges in the area, which is also something that appeals to me. I chose the Hotel Kokoro, which turned out to be an excellent choice. I stayed for 3 nights enjoying glimpses of the massive volcano through the clouds, soaking in their volcanic hotsprings, going on nature walks, and just relaxing.
